Weeknights 7pm - Midnight

A Tampa man who was just bailed out of jail did something that put him right back in there. According to arrest reports, after being released on Sunday he tried to break into three different cars parked at the jail grounds.

The unnamed Tampa man was arrested early Sunday morning after he rear-ended another vehicle at Ulmerton Rd and 66th St. When deputies arrived he showed clear signs of impairment and did poorly on sobriety tests. He thought he was clever and blamed the accident on being tired from “being at a concert the night before.”

After posting a $500 bail that same day, this bright Florida Man tried to break into a 2013 Chevy Tahoe, a 2010 Chevy Impala, and a 2004 Ford van. All three vehicles were parked at the Pinellas County jail parking lot, according to arrest records. He tried to play it off smoothly AGAIN and told deputies “he thought his keys were in the vehicle.”

Records show that he was arrested on three charges of auto burglary and was later released on $15,000 bail.
