Investigators with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department say they have arrested a couple after they caught them in possession of 6 pounds of methamphetamine and a large supply of fentanyl. The SWAT team from Charlotte County served the warrant at a residence in Port Charlotte on Tuesday morning.
When SWAT team members approached the building, they saw John Alton Knight, 56, and ordered him to put his hands up. Investigators say the man refused to comply and ran into the home. Once inside, officers found the man and 39-year-old Rebecca Mary Knight. Once the couple was secured and in cuffs, investigators searched the home and found approximately 6 pounds of methamphetamine, 58 grams of fentanyl, 53 grams of oxycodone, 27 pounds of synthetic cannabinoids and an assortment of drug paraphernalia. Also in the seizure were almost 450 pressed fentanyl pills. The man’s charges include trafficking in amphetamine, fentanyl, oxycodone, Synthetic canabinoids, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence and resisting an officer. He was also charged with attempt to elude an officer and possession of a firearm by a felon. Both suspects are being held in the Charlotte County Jail. Source: TampaFP.com

If you’re like me, you watch the Olympics not only because of the unbelievable performance level of the world’s greatest athletes but also because they’re all so dang hot!
This year’s volleyball competitors bring the heat on and off the sand court, so of course we had to include our favorite hotties competing in the Tokyo Games this year.
Since beach volleyball made its Olympic debut in 1996, the United States has established itself as a dominant force in the sport. Per The Washington Post, the U.S. women and men have each claimed three gold medals, more than any other country.
The preliminary rounds will be held from this Friday (July 23) to July 30, with elimination matches running from July 31 to August 6. The women’s medal matches are on August 5, followed by the men’s medal matches on August 6. The entire tournament will be held at Shiokaze Park in Tokyo.
