MIAMI, FL - OCTOBER 21: A Subway sandwich is seen in a restaurant as the company announced a settlement over a class-action lawsuit that alleged that Subway engaged in deceptive marketing for its 6-inch and 12-inch sandwiches and served customers less food than they were paying for on October 21, 2015 in Miami, Florida. While it denies the claims, Subway said that franchisees would be required to have a measurement tool in stores to make sure loaves are 12-inches. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)
This guy really wanted to “eat fresh”, but only had cash. Doesn’t sound like a problem to me. The big problem is that credit card machines at a Subway in Suwannee County were down, so he needed to pay cash for his footlong sandwich.
Steven Wayne Bach, 52, from Live Oak, FL, lost his mind when he was told that the store could not accept debit cards, only cash. This guy must have been starving.
Bach then waved a knife at employees and threatened to kill them. He also cursed the staff while saying he would shoot up and burn it to the ground. Wow, this guy really loved him some Subway.
Cops arrived to the scene and arrested Bach for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and disorderly intoxication. Steven Bach was taken to jail where he will receive 3 meals a day and a place to live compliments of the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office.
