Stray Arrow Lodged in Woman’s Face Shocks ER Doctors

A woman in China is lucky to be alive after she was rushed to the hospital with an arrow lodged in her face. Reportedly, her neighbor was practicing archery on his property when a stray arrow accidentally struck the woman. Doctors were able to use a combination of surgery and bolt cutters to get the arrow out of her face.

A grisly scene awaited paramedics in China after responding to an archery injury involving woman shot in the face by an arrow. Her was reportedly practicing with a crossbow on June 13 in his yard in Xian, Shaanxi province, when the arrow struck the woman, piercing through her eyelid.
