Safety Harbor’s Robin Zander has called the Bay area home for over 20 years.  Now his band has a new biography on the way.

A new book out this fall will tell the story of Cheap Trick.

This Band Has No Past: How Cheap Trick Became Cheap Trick follows the the band from their Midwestern roots through “a most unlikely career in rock’n’roll.” – featuring more than 80 original interviews.

Original drummer Bun E. Carlos says author Brian Kramp “dug deep for the details”.

This Band Has No Past will be out Sept. 6th.
