The Tampa Bay Lightning, the back to back Stanley Cup champions lost the first game of the NHL’s Eastern Conference Finals.

Flip Chytil scored twice in the second period as New York routed the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The 22-year-old center has seven goals in 15 playoff games — including five goals in the last three games.

The Lightning had been off for nine days since completing its second-round sweep of Florida on May 23. How much do you think the break affected their game? Did they seem “rusty?”
