According to AAA, gas prices will probably not be falling before or during Memorial Day Weekend. Add to that the fact that more Floridians expect to travel during the holiday period. The average price per gallon today is $4.57, but fuel prices could rise a bit more to reach $4.60 a gallon. The news is certainly not good, considering we’ve been setting records almost daily for gas prices. fuel prices are not expected to keep families fom hitting the streets, but they mayseriously affect the family budget by doing so. There are ways to save on fuel as you journey this weekend. You can drive during off-peak hours, such as early morning, midday or evenings. Also, fill your car later in the evening, after temperatures fall and less fuel evaporates as it is pumped into your tank. We all have to do wht we can to conserve fuel and drive less. Fuel prices are expected to rise throughout the summer. Buckle up, it’s gonna be a wild ride! Source: WFLA.com
