Mike Evans has his eyes on a new business venture – WNBA team owner.

After WNBA commish Cathy Englebert announced the league was looking to add two expansion teams, Evans jumped into the conversation.

He tweeted “Bring the Houston Comets back.  I love the WNBA I’d be interested in ownership“.

The Houston Comets were the WNBA’s first dynasty, winning the league’s first four titles from 1997-2000.  But the team disbanded in 2009 after it couldn’t find a buyer.
