A Florida man has been arrested after he reportedly stabbed his daughter while fighting with her boyfriend.

Clearwater resident Laurence Green, 51, is facing one count of manslaughter in connection with the incident, which occurred Sunday evening in a local apartment complex, police say. After Green and his daughter’s boyfriend got into a fight, the daughter — 22-year-old Sidney Green — tried to intervene, according to the Clearwater P.D. That’s when her dad stabbed her, police say. She died after being transported to a local hospital, per authorities.

It’s unclear if the boyfriend, whose name hasn’t been released, suffered any injuries in the brawl.
