The Foo Fighters have just announced the cancelation of their upcoming tour after drummer Taylor Hawkins passed away last Friday.
“It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins,” the band said in a brief statement Tuesday.
The Foo Fighters tour also includes some festival appearances including Welcome To Rockville at Daytona International Speedway May 22nd.
Taylor Hawkins was found unresponsive in his hotel room in Bogotá, Columbia last Friday March 25th. He was 50 years old and survived by his wife and three daughters.
In light of the tragic passing of Taylor Hawkins, the FF have cancelled their 22 performances, including WTR. We are sending love and light to the entire FFfamily during this incredibly difficult time.
