A Couple Steals Some Ones Cat While Staying in an Airbnb
A California homeowner has been fighting for months to get his cat back after he believes a couple renting a nearby home on Airbnb took her.Nubbins (the missing cat) was a neighborhood cat when he moved in, but he officially adopted her and claims she is his support cat.
A couple allegedly took Nubbins after staying at a nearby home through Airbnb last fall, and he is STILL trying to get her back. Neighbors say that the couple had been asking about the cat and it’s possible they thought she was a stray.
The owner did have her microchipped and was contacted by a Long Beach vet that scanned her microchip, but was not able to send the cat to him. They’re hoping that the couple that took Nubbins will return her to her REAL home 500 miles away.
