A Michigan woman almost missed out a $3 million lottery prize when the award notification went to her spam folder.
Laura Spears found an email in her spam folder saying she won the lottery for $3 million . . . and it turned out to be LEGIT. She had purchased a Mega Millions online for a drawing back in December. She matched 5 numbers for a million bucks and also had the Megaplyer to times that by 3.
She logged onto her official lottery account, confirmed it, and claimed her prize.
