We all need to earn that job, but this is not the way we want to earn it. A Pinellas man is under arrest for extorting a woman who came in for a drug test.
According to WFLA, after testing positive, Christopher Ferguson is accused of contacting the victim over the phone and requested some lude behaviors. Ferguson, the director of operations at the Phoenix Medical Management Clinic on Pinellas Avenue in Tarpon Springs, reached out to the victim after hours.
During his conversation, which Channel 8 reports was recorded, he told her what sexual actions he wanted her to perform. He then, according to police, instructed her to come to the clinic after hours.
The woman did show up, but she was not alone. The police arrived with her and took Ferguson into custody.
During the arrest, police indicate that Ferguson admitted his actions were “unethical,” He was aware the victim believed he wanted the sexual contact in exchange for a “clean slate.”
Deputies released him from the Pinellas County Jail after he posted a $10,000 bond.
