TAMPA, FLORIDA - AUGUST 21: Head coach Bruce Arians and Tom Brady #12 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers talk during a preseason game against the Tennessee Titans at Raymond James Stadium on August 21, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 100% vaccinated against COVID-19, Head Coach Bruce Arians says.

Lately, there has been an uproar across the league about vaccination status in relation to roster spots and fines by the league. According to WFLA, that won’t be an issue for the reigning Super Bowl champs.

All 53 players and coaches on the active roster have been fully-vaccinated for COVID-19.

Arians is known for his tough discipline and teambuilding skills as a coach, and this further proves that notion.

As of last week there are currently only four NFL teams under 89% vaccinated. NFL rules say that unvaccinated players must quarantine for five days if in close proximity of anyone with a positive test.

The league does not have a mandate in place saying that players must be vaccinated.

As far as the Bucs are concerned, nothing will be slowing them down, including COVID, ahead of their Week 1 showdown with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, September 9th.
