Weeknights 7pm - Midnight

Being the Super Bowl champs comes with some benefits for Bucs fans. We’ll get to see the new NFL season kick off right here in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium next week on Thursday, September 9th. Your Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the Dallas Cowboys. But before the game, just like when we hosted the Super Bowl, there will be a special fan festival. In fact, it sounds like it’ll be a lot like the Super Bowl Experience so if you missed that, make plans now to check out The NFL Kickoff Experience.

Channel 8 reports that just like last time, this is a free event but you will need one of those digital reservations. Also like before, the attractions will be spread out around Julian B. Lane Park in Tampa. You will need the NFL One Pass to reserve your free ticket.

The event starts at noon on game day and runs through 11 p.m. even though the game between the Cowboys and Bucs starts at 8:20 p.m. There are many things for fans to do including a 40-yard dash and kicking a field goal. Get autographs from NFL legends of the NFL (they haven’t announced who will be there yet). Plus get your picture with the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The lines for that were long last time so get there early to save time and I’m told you won’t be able to toss it Tom Brady style.

There is also a performance at 7 p.m. from pop star Ed Sheeran. So I would avoid the area Starbucks locations that day for sure. The food choices were pretty spectacular last time, but I don’t know if they’ll have the same set up this year. [Source: Channel 8]
