Floridians have been hospitalized after taking horse dewormer for COVID-19.
According to WFLA, authorities are warning Florida residents not to take Ivermectin, a livestock deworming drug, to treat COVID-19.
The drug is meant for use in horses only and should not be used on humans under any circumstances. They went on to say that dozens of Floridians have shown up at area hospitals suffering from Ivermectin poisoning.

Officials say it’s always best to seek the advice of your personal medical doctor and not ‘online quacks’. They also say the best way to treat an active case of COVID-19 is to seek out monoclonal antibody treatment centers in our area.
