The FDA approves Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine as Florida hits 3 million cases.
Many Floridians have held off on getting a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus because none of the shots were okayed by the FDA.
According to WFLA, that changed yesterday, when the Pfizer vaccine was officially approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Florida just passed 3 million cases of COVID-19 as the announcement was made yesterday.

Last week also saw an increase in vaccines given, which now puts us at a little over 51% fully vaccinated. Doctors hope the certification will help those who are undecided to get the shot.
