Does this further confirm his GOAT status?
Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady reportedly played last season with a torn medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, the knee was an issue all season.
Brady had surgery on it in late February, shortly after leading the Bucs to their Super Bowl title.
Brady has declined to give specifics about the surgery, only confirming it was “pretty serious.”
There are some lingering questions about the injury as well: The Tampa Bay Times reports it was a partial MCL tear while Ian Rapoport of NFL Media says it was fully torn.
