A woman in Palm Harbor was out walking when things went south after a gator tried to go after her dog.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) was notified earlier this week after a woman was bit by an alligator while walking her dog in Palm Harbor. She was next to a small pond near Pine Ridge Blvd when the alligator approached her and her pup. A bystander said he saw the gator go for the dog but the lady was quick to pickup her dog.
