Tim Tebow appears to be eyeing an NFL return – this time as a tight end.

The former Heisman Trophy winner reportedly worked out for the Jaguars on Thursday, at the tight end position.

The 33-year-old Tebow last played in the NFL in 2012, and spent the last five years as an outfielder in the Mets farm system.

But he does have one major connection to Jacksonville – the Jags’ new head coach, Urban Meyer, won two national championships while coaching Tebow at Florida.

Could Tebow make an NFL return at 33?  Would his NFL career have lasted longer if he converted to TE earlier?
