A Rocket Streaking Across the Night Sky Looking Like an Alien Armada
This happened last week. Two women in Portland, Oregon were driving at night when they saw what looked like a comet or maybe an “alien armada” streaking across the sky.
Turns out it was the second stage of a SpaceX rocket that launched weeks ago. That part was supposed to “harmlessly re-enter” the atmosphere over the ocean . . . but it malfunctioned and instead broke apart and burned up in the atmosphere.
