Foo Fighters, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, Sheryl Crow and a host of other artists have been tapped to take part in the Rock-N-Relief Charity Livestream.

Organized by Linda Perry, the livestream will benefit CORE, a crisis response non-profit co-founded by Sean Penn and Ann Lee that has provided assistance free COVID-19 testing in the greater Los Angeles area and will be assisting with the vaccine rollout. Rock-N-Relief will be taking place over the span of two days on Amazon Music’s Twitch Channel. Perry said via Twitter the event is currently TBA.

In addition to the Foos, Hagar & The Circle and Crow, other artists booked to perform include Deadmau5, Carly Simon, Jewel, Gavin Rossdale, L7, Macy Grey, Perry Farrell, Aloe Blacc and many more.

In a statement on the event, Perry said, “As a mother and fellow member of this community, I wanted to do something to lift spirits and send a positive message of hope and humanity to all the healthcare workers and those on the front lines, as well as raise awareness and funds to support CORE and their relief efforts. When I first put the word out, many jumped on board to contribute; we had over 150 bands submit to play.”

Perry continued, “We are extremely overwhelmed by the level of support we are getting from these rebel artists who are generously donating their time and so grateful for the backing from the biggest players in the media space. Can’t wait to get the word out and provide much-needed funding for CORE while entertaining and lifting the spirits of the nation.”
