There are many things to think about before deciding to open your home to a new furry family member. Once you have decided that a shelter rabbit or pocket pet is the right fit for you and your family here are four things to consider:

  • Do some research to find the kind of rabbit or pocket pet that is right for you.
  • Visit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay¬†website to see if they have a rabbit(s) or pocket pet(s) that you may be interested in. The website is updated every morning – click here >>
  • Visit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay¬†and meet with the rabbit(s) or pocket pet(s) that interest you.
  • Meet with an adoption coordinator to finalize paperwork and go over any questions.

Finally, you can take your new family member home and start your life together.

Small pet adoption fees range from $100 to $20 depending on the kind of pet.
