The national stage of Esports is ready to showcase right here in the Tampa Bay area Big Game weekend!

High Point Gamer the premier Esports consultants for college programs and more, is getting ready to host their event “Beyond Meta”. “Beyond Meta” is an Esports, Gaming and Tech expo open to the community. It is also the first event of its kind to especially focus on the black and Latino youth. The goal is to energize the sports and gaming industries to increase support for STEAM education in minority communities and improve financial inclusion for underrepresented innovators.

Beyond Meta is a collaboration with the Museum of Science and Industry, United States Airforce Special Warfare, NFL Alumni, Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival and METARENA. The event will be hosted during the Big Game Weekend on February 5<sup>th</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup> 2021 at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI). A number of exciting events are lined up for the two-day event. Some of the activities will include educational panels, a scholarship gaming tournament presented by USAF Special Warfare, a celebrity-hosted video game pitch contest, networking, food, and more.  There will also be an opportunity for attendees to game against pro athletes, and watch influencers battle it out on the stix.
