Tourists Are Coming To Florida For The Vaccines
Florida’s senior citizens are pissed and frustrated, and they have every right to be. According to AZCentral.com, tourists are coming to Florida by the thousands because it’s easy for them to get an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine in our state. All that is required to get a vaccination is getting online and setting an appointment, regardless of where you live. Authorities say the condition exists because Florida has a transient population, such as snowbirds who may own a home in another state as well as here in the Sunshine State. Florida has also experienced problems with distributing shots to its own citizens, and the elderly may not have the tools or computer savvy to figure out how to register online. There are even rumors of the rich getting vaccines first. A major health care provider for the elderly is already under investigation for such charges. – Sean Roberts
