Publix announced today that they are doubling the number of locations that will have the COVID-19 vaccine here in Florida, according to the Tampa Bay Times. As of right now, none are in Hillsborough, Pinellas or Pasco County.
Until now, the vaccine has been available at Publix stores in Hernando, Citrus and Marion counties. The new locations with the vaccine will be in the following counties: Bay, Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Walton. Appointments will be available as soon as tomorrow (January 13, 2021) if you are 65 or older. Go to publix.com/covidvaccine.
