First Dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine Given At Tampa General Hospital
The first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to Tampa General hospital on Monday (12/14) morning.
A 31- year old nurse was the first in Tampa to receive the vaccine and Governor DeSanits was there to address the media.
According to the Governor, Florida is set to receive 179,400 doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine in the first shipment. This is good news as cases are spiking in Florida.
