COVID-19 may have scared away Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. But if you’re looking for a frightful experience, a group in Orlando saw the spike in visits to the drive in and came up with an idea for Halloween.

The Haunted Road will be Central Florida’s first drive-thru and completely contactless Halloween experience. “The entire event was designed with physical distancing measures in mind, from contact-free check-in by license plate, to immersive drive-in scenes,” according to a press release. Got some little ones who might get a little too freaked out? A family-friendly version of the event will be held during the daytime on select weekends.

Dates and additional details will be revealed at a later time. Admission will start at $15 per person. So my question is, who’s going to do this in Tampa?
