The Department of Business and Professional Regulation has suspended the consumption of alcohol at bars around the state, according to the Tampa Bay Times. The order takes effect immediately. What’s not clear yet is how this will impact breweries. Also we’re waiting to find out if that means bars can’t sell alcohol at all – or if it’s just not permitted to be consumed at the bar itself. According to Channel 8, the announcement came shortly after the Florida Department of Health announced a new record 8,942 new coronavirus cases in one day. [Source: Tampa Bay Times, Channel 8]
