What To Do: Boil Water Notice
If a bad storm comes through the Tampa Bay area, it may wreak havoc on our water system and a boil water advisory may be put into effect.
When boiling water to use, the CDC recommends to let the water boil for 1 minute once it reaches a roiling boil. Once cooled, pour the water into a clean container with a cover.
So what do you need to boil water to do and what don’t you need to boil water for during our daily lives? Here are some of the recommendations from the CDC:
