They help us so let’s help them. First responders in Hillsborough County are asking the public for help gathering medical supplies as the coronavirus spread worsens. Specificially they say they’re looking for “Impervious gowns, N95 masks, face shields, surgical masks, exam glove and Tyvek suits.” They do still need to be in the box new and unused. This equipment will be used from hospitals to nursing homes. Donations can be made at Sears Automotive at 250 Westshore Plaza in Tampa weekdays from 9am to 3pm. • Waffle House

  Over 300 Waffle House locations nationwide are temporarily closing, including a handful in the Tampa Bay area. Most will remain open for takeout.

• City Of Tampa Parks

  All Tampa parks, dog parks, beaches and year-round pools are open. Certain areas in the parks will remain closed and residents will be required to practice social distancing and gatherings of more than 10 people will not be prohibited.

• Universal Orlando Resort

  The parks could open as soon as June 5. Select CityWalk venues are open from 4–10 pm daily.
• Disney Springs

  The parks remain closed, but some retail stores and restaurants are open at Disney Springs.

  Stores are closing at 8pm instead of 9pm. Customers wait outside in a line to keep from overcrowding in the store.

  Publix locations close at 8pm to give employees more time to sanitize the stores and restock shelves. A senior shopping hour is available Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 7.

  Bars can reopen at 50% capacity indoors and full capacity outdoors.

  Stores close at 9p daily. They are also reserving the first hour of shopping each Wednesday to support the elderly and people with underlying health concerns.

• Burger King

  Dunkin says they're limiting their service to drive-thru, carry out and delivery.
• Mall Stores

  Sephora is among quite a few mall retailers that will close during the pandemic. Sephora says they will be closed. Abercrombie & Fitch, Macy's, Disney stores, Gap, J. Crew, Lush, Nike, Bath & Bodyworks, Nordstrom, REI, T-Mobile, and Ulta are all closed.
