Doc about Late Blind Melon Singer Shannon Hoon to Get 2020 Release
Before his death in 1995, Blind Melon singer Shannon Hoon was documenting his own life, obsessively videotaping himself for five years as his band’s success grew.
Now, the over 200 hours of video footage has been compiled for a documentary about the late singer called All I Can Say. The film has already been screened at several film festivals but will now get a worldwide release in 2020.
While an exact date for the doc hasn’t been given, codirector Danny Clinch told Rolling Stone we’ll see Hoon living “a good time and a rock and roll lifestyle for sure.” Hoon died from a drug overdose in 1995. Check out the original story below for more info and footage.
