Jimi Hendrix and his estate are releasing a new Band of Gypsys box set this Friday (November 22), and one of its last previews comes in the form of the unreleased track “Ezy Ryder.”
The track is part of Songs For Groovy Children: The Fillmore East Concerts, a box set made up of all four performances from the band at New York’s Fillmore East that took place on New Year’s Eve 1969 and New Year’s Day 1970. About half of the songs on this box set have never been released commercially before.
Songs For Groovy Children: The Fillmore East Concerts is available for pre-order at JimiHendrix.com.
