49ers D.J. Jones Proposes To Girlfriend Before Game

Even if the 49ers didn’t pull off a monster victory on Monday night, D.J. Jones would have had much to celebrate.
Taking a knee on the sidelines an hour before kickoff, the defensive tackle popped the question to his girlfriend of two years, Kayla Fannin.
“She had no idea [the proposal was coming],” Jones told ESPN, adding, “I saw it in her face. She started crying instantly. It’s pretty cool.”
Letting fans in on the action, the team broadcast the moment on the big screen at Levi Stadium, then tweeting out the video.
