Metallica and Guns N’ Roses are among the top 100 celebrities to make Forbes 2019 list of the World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities.

Metallica came in at number 30 earning $68.5 million, while Guns N’ Roses came in at number 71 earning $44 million. The bulk of each band’s earnings came from touring. GN’R, while only performing 29 shows during the time Forbes calculated their list, still managed to gross on average $4 million per show.

The top rock band on the Forbes list was The Eagles, who came in at number eight earning $100 million. Like Metallica and GN’R, The Eagles’ earning came via their tour dates where they gross on average $3.5 million per show.

Other musicians of note who made the list were Elton John (#19 – $84 million), Billy Joel (#53 – $52 million), Jimmy Buffett (#57 – $50 million), Fleetwood Mac (#59 – $49 million), Paul McCartney (#62 – $48 million) and The Rolling Stones (#83 – $41 million.)
