An investigation is underway over a possible grenade found outside the Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Hotel just after 11:30 a.m. Friday. An object was found in the bushes on the east side of the property.
The Tampa Bomb Team has been notified of the situation. Casablanca Avenue is shut down from the Pinellas Bayway to West Maritana Drive. Story developing.
