This year’s Tampa Bay Lightning team is on fire. Last night they became only the third team in the history of the National Hockey League to get 60 wins in one season. And now they are making a run at another record. With three games left, they could break Detroit’s record of most wins in a season ever. The 1995-96 Red Wings pulled off 62 wins. Here’s the thing. The Lightning have 3 regular season games left. 2 wins ties the record. 3 breaks it.

It’s sparked the debate with Bolts fans online. Is the record important or should we rest players up for the post-season?
