An acting student at the University of Hartford was arrested on Sunday after he stabbed two of his friends while doing a scene from the 2004 Ashton Kutcher movie, "The Butterfly Effect".
They were acting out a scene where a character gets stabbed and one of them took it too far. Both students, one 19 and the other 21 years old, suffered multiple stab wounds to their chest and back and are currently recovering in the hospital.
The student that did the stabbing has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
