Bon Jovi fans that follow Jon Bon Jovi on social media received a great bit of news through the singer’s Instagram Story this weekend.

JBJ shared a brief video of the band tuning up before turning his cell phone to himself to say, “Day one, song one, new record, see ya!”  The video was captured and shared by the Twitter account @JoviUpdates and can be seen below.

Asbury Park Press reports Bon Jovi is recording the new album at the Ocean Way Nashville Recording Studios in Nashville. If you’re wondering why it looked like the band were setting up shop in a church, the studio, itself, is actually a repurposed church.

This will be Bon Jovi’s first new record since 2016’s This House Is Not For Sale. So far, there’s no word yet on a timeline for release.
