What nasty thing did doctors pull out of a Chinese Mans throat?

YANGON, MYANMAR – APRIL 25: A Burmese doctor examines an AIDS patient at a special clinic for AIDS on April 25, 2009 in Yangon, Myanmar (Burma). The situation for many people living with HIV in Myanmar is critical due to a severe lack of antiretroviral treatment (ART). The Burmese government spends only 0.3% of the gross domestic product on health, the lowest amount worldwide, according to the United Nations Development Program 2008 survey (UNDP). A UNAIDS 2008 progress report states that Myanmar is experiencing one of Asia’s most serious HIV epidemics because the available care and treatment meets only a fraction of the needs, an estimated 240,000 people are thought to have the disease with 76,000 in urgent need of lifesaving medicine ART. About 20% receive the treatment from the various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for free. (Photo Paula Bronstein/Getty Images)

A man that had been coughing up blood and suffering from an itchy throat for months and finally went to see a doctor about his condition.

The doctor discovered that the man had a leech living inside his throat.  They believe the man got the leech from an egg he likely consumed when he drank unboiled water.  You can watch footage of the removal of the 10cm-long leech at the link below.
